PCB Controller Unit Warranty – Key Conditions:

  • Warranty is void if regular preventive maintenance is not performed by SEPL-authorized dealers or service franchisees during the warranty period.
  • Failures due to poor maintenance, voltage fluctuations, or natural calamities are not covered.
  • Warranty is invalid if the unit is serviced or repaired by unauthorized personnel.
  • An original invoice and company-stamped warranty card must be presented to claim a warranty and extended warranty.
  • From the 2nd to the 5th year, the extended warranty on the PCB controller is applicable only if:

The air conditioner unit is covered under an active AMC or Extended Warranty, or

The unit remains in a physically and technically non-tampered condition, with proper maintenance recorded during the said period.

  • From the 2nd year onward, if PCB replacement is required and the Air conditioner is not under AMC or Extended warranty in that case labor, and any other spare parts if so, required are chargeable, will be borne by the customer.
  • SEPL reserves the right to inspect the unit and may decline the warranty and extended warranty of PCB controller for signs of abuse or abnormal usage.

 

Compressor Warranty Terms – Key conditions:

  • The warranty shall be void if regular preventive maintenance is not carried out by SEPL-authorized dealers, SSDs, and Service franchisees during the warranty period.
  • The extended compressor warranty (not applicable under AMC or full unit extended warranty) shall be void if the unit is serviced or maintained by any unauthorized person or vendor other than a SEPL-authorized dealer, SSD, or service franchisee.
  • Compressor failure due to poor maintenance, abnormal voltage, or unauthorized servicing is not covered.
  • Original purchase invoices and company-stamped warranty cards must be shown to claim a warranty.
  • Warranty remains valid only if servicing is done exclusively by SEPL-authorized personnel.
  • From the 2nd year onward, in case of compressor replacement, costs for gas refilling, spare parts, and transportation are chargeable to the customer if the Air conditioner is not under AMC or Extended warranty.
  • SEPL reserves the right to inspect the unit and may deny a warranty for signs of abnormal usage or tampering.

  2. Regular maintenance/service is required as per the company’s recommendations.
  3. The warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser.
  4. Proof of purchase (invoice) & valid warranty card both are required for warranty claims.
  5. Warranty service is available only through authorized service centres.
  6. Re-installation and relocation of AC unit is only permissible through authorised service centre of SEPL.

🛠 Standard Warranty – 12 Months

All electrical components of SENZEN Air Conditioners are covered under a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty excludes grills, remote handsets, and aesthetic plastic parts.
We will repair or replace any covered component found defective due to faulty material or workmanship at no extra cost, through our authorized service centers.

🔧 Extended Warranty on Inverter ACs (Up to 2.0 TR) – Compressor & PCB Controller (IDU & ODU)

  • Compressor Warranty: 10 Years (effective from date of customer invoice)
  • PCB Controller Warranty (IDU & ODU): 5 Years (effective date of customer invoice)

📄 Warranty Terms & Conditions – SENZEN Air Conditioners

✅ Warranty Activation:

  • Warranty valid only upon registration via Customer Care (+91 8064521248) and a duly stamped and signed Warranty Card from an authorized dealer.
  • The original purchase invoice must be presented along with the warranty card. Failing this, the warranty stands null and void.

🛠 Warranty Coverage:

  • 1-Year comprehensive warranty on electrical components (excluding grill, remote & plastic parts).
  • 10-Year Compressor & 5-Year PCB Controller warranty (for Inverter ACs up to 2.0 TR).
  • 3 Free Preventive Maintenance Services in the first year (customer-initiated).

⚠️ Key Conditions:

  1. Product registration by a customer or dealer is mandatory.
  2. The warranty is location-specific and ends on expiry date, irrespective of usage or relocation. For any shift, notify Senzen 7 days prior. De-installation/re-installation charges apply.
  3. The warranty period includes service time; no separate extension applies.
  4. Units installed outside city limits: Travel/visit charges apply and must be paid in advance.
  5. Repairs will be made by authorized service personnel only; replacement of the full unit is not applicable.
  6. The warranty covers repair/replacement of defective parts only, not consequential losses or financial claims.
  7. The company decides whether service will be done on-site or at a service center.
  1. ❌ Warranty Void If:
  • No valid warranty card or invoice.
  • Unauthorized purchase or installation.
  • Tampering, mishandling, improper use or installation.
  • Defective power supply, unstable voltage, poor earthing.
  • Any unauthorized service, repair, or part alteration.
  • Serial numbers tampered or removed.
  • Machines relocated without prior intimation or by unauthorized people.
  • Usage in harsh/dusty/corrosive environments (e.g., chemical factories, open drains).
  • Non-ISI stabilizers, improper wiring, or voltage issues.
  • Accessories (e.g., stabilizers, MCBs) are not covered.
  • Coils damaged due to polluted air or corrosion.
  • The warranty does not cover concealed piping, leakages, or wall damage.
  • Voltage must be maintained at ±10% of 230V/415V. Stabilizer with cutoff is recommended.

 

  1. 🔧 Service Responsibility:
  • Preventive service is the customer’s responsibility to schedule.
  • Parts repaired/replaced during warranty will be covered for the remaining warranty period only.

  1. No employee or authorized dealer is permitted to alter the terms of this warranty in any manner.
  2. This warranty is governed by the laws of Kolkata. Jurisdiction lies exclusively with the courts in Kolkata.
  3. These terms override all previous warranty clauses, including those in product packaging or manuals.
