Warranty for SENZEN Air Conditioner
M/s. Senzen Energy Private Limited warrants to the original purchaser of Senzen Air Conditioner’s electrical parts only (expect the grill, remote handset and aesthetic add-on plastic parts) for a period of 12 months from the Date of Purchase. The company will repair or replace free of charge any part or parts of Air Conditioner, which upon inspection by the Company or any of its Sales and Service Dealers is found to have been defective due to faulty material or workmanship.
Additionally, Senzen Energy Private Limited offers 10-year warranty on Compressor fitted in Inverter AC till 2.0 TR and 5 years warranty on PCB Controller fitted in IDU and ODU units of Inverter AC till 2.0 TR.
Compressor and PCB Controller units’ warranty of 10 years and 5 years respectively shall be in effect from the date of customer invoice.

Terms and Conditions for Air Conditioner*:Warranty will be applicable only when the registration is completed through our Customer Care Centre Number (+91 8064521248) and Customer Warranty Card duly stamped and signed by dealer is obtained by the customer. The warranty is Null and Void when the original purchase bill is not produced along with the Customer Warranty card.
With this Warranty the air conditioner will be provided with three (3) preventive maintenance services in the first year, in addition to the spares named here under including compressor & PCB will be covered with the following conditions.

  1. Details of your purchase and installation will be updated to Senzen Energy Private Limited by Yourself or dealer for warranty purposes.
  2. The warranty for both Machine and Compressor will automatically be terminated on the date expiry of the above period, irrespective of whether the Air Conditioner has been in use or not, for any reason whatsoever, or the unit is moved from one location to another. If any such movement is essential, then the purchaser must give 7 day’s advance notice to the Company in writing to depute its authorized personnel to carry out such installation after de installation. Such de installation and installation cost, additional material cost and any other cost of incidental damage to the plastic materials, copper pipes and consumables will be collected from the Purchaser by the authorized service center.
  3. The warranty period shall include time taken for repairs, replacements, breakdowns, transit time etc. No notice of expiry period of warranty will be given by the company.

Subject to the above clause, any part of the air conditioner found defective, due to fault material or workmanship, during the warranty period, shall be repaired or replaced with functionally working equivalent part by the company or Authorized Sales or Service Dealer only. Parts of the units replaced or repaired under the terms of this warranty are warranted only for the remaining period of the original warranty period.

  1. For the Air-conditioner installed outside the municipal limits, all expenses incurred in travelling to and from or collecting the unit or parts thereof from the outstation and returning to the original location after attending to the repair, will be to the customer’s account and shall be payable in advance. Air Conditioner being a mechanical unit, it is prone for breakdown calling for repairs. In the event of such a breakdown SEPL (Senzen Energy Pvt. Limited) or its authorized agent will repair the unit to the customer’s satisfaction; however, customers cannot insist on the replacement of the unit as the company has no policy to replace the units once sold.
  2. The warranty herein is in lieu of implied conditions and warranties under the law and is confined to the repair or replacement of defective parts only. This warranty is in the nature of and for the purpose of set-forth herein above and in particular the Company shall not in any event be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damages to the said purchaser and or his property or any other third party. Furthermore, the warranty, in no case shall extend to the payment of any monetary consideration whatsoever, or the replacement or return of the Air-conditioner as a whole.
  1. The Company or Authorized Sales and Service Dealer will advise the owner whether to effect Repairs/Replacements at the site of installation or at the company or authorized Sales and Service dealer’s premises and the decision of the Company or Authorized Sales and Service Dealer will be final. 

Warranty is null and void if,

  1. When the Customer Warranty Card is not produced along with the original purchase invoice copy.
  2. The air conditioner is not purchased from the authorized dealer of Senzen Energy Private Limited and improper installation by unauthorized personnel.
  3. The copy of the warranty card and purchase invoice is not presented to authorized service personnel at the time of service of the product.
  4. Any damage caused by accident, mishandling, tampering with installation defects caused to the parts due to improper or reckless usage or negligence in following instruction of the user manual issued by company.
  5. Any damage caused by improper electrical circuit outside the unit or by any defective electrical supply. 
  6. During the warranty period, if any part of the unit is altered, repaired or serviced by any unauthorized person.
  7. The serial number of the unit or any part thereof is damaged, defaced, altered, obliterated or tampered with or removal for any reason whatsoever.
  8. Movement of machine from its original place of installation or re-installation by unauthorized persons.
  9. The installed capacity of the air conditioner is less than the required capacity.
  10. When this product is transferred to any other owner.
  11. Improper incoming power wiring, non-ISI and unbranded stabilizers, building improper earth, usage of machines at highly dust prone locations, chemical units, furnaces, power plants, adjacent to open drains leading to any component failure or clogging of coils or poor maintenance of units will not be covered under warranty. SEPL (Senzen Energy Private Limited) will not be responsible for hazards like shocks, fire arising due to the above.
  12. Any accessories, such as voltage stabilizer, MCB etc., are not covered under this warranty.
  13. Warranty does not cover parts / condenser and evaporator coils leaks due to polluted / corrosive atmosphere such as open drain, chemical factory, power plants and higher Sulphur content in the atmosphere.
  14. This scheme does not cover any concealed piping and its maintenance. This warranty does not cover the damage caused due to improper installation and water leakage from the concealed piping, resulting in damage or cracks on the wall surface at customer premises.
  15. The supply voltage to the Air Conditioner is to be maintained at + or – 10% of 230V/415V for single / three phase power supply respectively. If the incoming Voltage is not as per the above specification – Voltage Stabilizer (with Hi/Low voltage cut off advised) must be installed as suggested by Senzen Energy Private Limited.
  16. Preventive Maintenance Service: In the First Year, Three free preventive maintenance services. Onus to avail free Service rests with the customer.

17. Compressor Warranty is Void, if
Regular preventive Maintenance Service if NOT carried out periodically by the Authorized Sales and Service Dealer/Franchise until compressor warranty expires.
Compressor failure due to poor maintenance, poor incoming voltage, will not be covered under this warranty.
If the Air Conditioner has been serviced by unauthorized people.
Company copy of the warranty card and original purchase invoice is not presented to authorized service personnel.
The compressor warranty will be applicable only if the Air Conditioner is maintained by authorized Sales and Service dealers, service franchise of SEPL (Senzen Energy Private Limited) throughout the validity period.
In case of compressor replacement from 2nd year, expect compressor charges relating to refrigerant gas any other related spares to and from transportation must be paid extra by Customer.
In case of compressor failure, Senzen Energy Private Limited has the right to inspect the Air Conditioner, through their authorized personnel and deny replacement in the event of any abnormal usage.
18. PCB Controller unit Warranty is Void, if
Regular preventive Maintenance Service if NOT carried out periodically by the authorized Sales and Service Dealer/Franchise until PCB Controller unit warranty expires.
PCB failure due to poor maintenance, poor incoming voltage, will not be covered under this warranty.
PCB controller failure due to natural calamities/disaster.
If the Air Conditioner has been serviced /repaired by unauthorized persons.
Company copy of the warranty card and original purchase invoice is not presented to authorized service personnel.
The PCB controller warranty will be applicable only if the Air Conditioner is maintained by authorized Sales and Service dealers, and the service franchise of SEPL (Senzen Energy Private Limited) throughout the validity period.
In the case of PCB controller replacement from 2nd year, expect PCB controller charges any other related spares, & labor charges must be paid extra by Customer.
In case of PCB controller failure, Senzen Energy Private Limited has the right to inspect the Air Conditioner, through their authorized personnel and deny replacement in the event of any abnormal usage.
19. None of the employees and /or authorized dealers of the company have any authority whatsoever to vary the terms and conditions of this warranty.
20. This warranty is issued at Kolkata and Courts at Kolkata shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters covered by this warranty.
21. This Warranty Terms and Conditions supersede all other terms and conditions issued along with the product or instruction manual.
